Working quickly from Alaska to Peru

September 21, 2011

"Worldwide Machinery finds a way to get it done in the nick of time to close a sale on a Atlas Copco DM45E drill." Our customer in Peru could not wait on delivery of a new drill due to the long lead time of the manufacturer, so our South American manager was able to source a late model low hour drill for our customer in Alaska. In a matter of days the weather was going to freeze and all roads were going to be shut down for the winter. Worldwide Machinery was able to work out all the logistices required and get the drill on a barge and on its way to Seattle for transhipment to Peru before the weather change. The Peruvian mine owner put 100% trust in us and Worldwide Machinery delivered. The customer owns gold mines in South America and needed to keep up with production due to current worldwide demand of gold.. As a result of this sale they will reach their year-end productions targets.
