Our pipe facing machines consists of three basic elements: the base unit, the clamp that fits into it and the
generator that powers it up.
The base unit is available in four models ranging in size from 8 through 60 inches. There are two clamps
available for each model: a small and a large one. Each one can handle a range of sizes for that particular
base unit.
The SUPERIOR SFM pipe facing machines are quickly adjustable to any size within the machine’s range and
can be easily set up to any bevel configuration: stick electrode including modified J bevel, any automatic
welding bevel and transition bevels. Brush adapters eliminate both internal and external manual buffing,
grinding or sanding.
The hydraulics on the SFM are Bosch Mannesmann and the choices of engine for the power unit are
Caterpillar or Deutz.
